Welcome

The 1st Kuwait Obesity Association Medical Conference will bring together healthcare professionals from across multiple specialties to address the growing burden of obesity in Kuwait and its far-reaching impact on individual and public health.

Recognizing obesity as a complex, chronic disease associated with numerous metabolic, cardiovascular, hepatic, renal, and other health complications, the conference will provide a multidisciplinary platform for sharing knowledge, clinical expertise, and the latest scientific advances in obesity care.

The scientific program will highlight current best clinical practices in the medical management of obesity, including contemporary approaches to assessment, treatment, management of obesity-related complications, and long-term patient care.

The conference is designed for physicians and healthcare professionals working in obesity medicine, diabetes and endocrinology, cardiology, hepatology, nephrology, and family medicine, fostering collaboration across specialties to improve the quality and integration of obesity care in Kuwait.

Together, we aim to advance obesity care from weight management to comprehensive, evidence-based management of a chronic disease and its complications.
